Eglisau has a lot to offer in spring, summer and autumn.

The historic little town of Eglisau is nestled in vineyards that extend to the banks of the Rhine.

There are wonderful hiking trails along the Rhine as well as in the Rafzer Feld. There is also a beautiful Rheinbeach, which is freely accessible without entrance fee. ( https://www.badi-info.ch/zh/eglisau-rheinbadi.html).

The hotel sleep&stay works closely with the local outdoor shop "Sportegge Alder". Accompanied and unaccompanied canoe and bicycle tours can be booked via www.sportegge.ch. You can also rent the appropriate sports equipment for your own use.

 

Bike tour              

Bike tour to the historic power plant in Eglisau, along the Glatt to the Neeracher Riet, through the Bachsertal to Kaiserstuhl (perhaps you should plan dinner here?) and by bike or train back to Eglisau.

Departure: daily 10.00 and 13.00, costs from CHF 20.00

 

Canoe

Canoe tours from Rüdlingen (9km), Rheinau (18km), Rhine Falls or Gütighausen (27km). This means transport of people and material from Eglisau to the watering place by Sportegge Alder, instruction and training. Canoe trip back to Eglisau.

Departure daily at 10.00 and 13.00, costs from CHF 42.00, children at half price.

 

Beaver trail and canoe

With the scheduled boat www.szr.ch to Tössegg, hike on the WWF beaver nature trail to Rüdlingen, instruction and training, canoe trip back to Eglisau.

Departure daily, from 13.40 hrs, costs from CHF 50.00, children at half price.                                                             

 

Bike and canoe...

Joint trip with Sportegge Alder to Hofgut Albführen (DE) www.albfuehren.de, bike ride to Rüdlingen, instruction and training, canoe ride with canoe, kayak or SUP back to Eglisau.
